This has easy to read maps and seems to be organized very well. I am planning our trip and it gives me lots of ideas of things to go see. I hope the maps will be accurate when I get to New Zealand. So far it is great!!

We bought this to plan our New Zealand trip and it was fairly useful for that purpose. Since we were traveling by car, we hoped it would give us better navigational help. When it arrived, we saw that the detail was not sufficient for this purpose. I strongly suggest the AA Atlas for your New Zealand trip. Even if you are not traveling by car, the detail is most helpful for planning and understanding the territory you will be visiting. We did not bother to take the Globetrotter Atlas with us on the trip,instead, packed the AA Atlas and used it exclusively for our 5-week tour by car. The AA Atlas is somewhat hard to find, but it is worth the effort.
