Delorme Atlas & Gazetter January 25, 2008 J. E. Avena (Sacramento, CA) These Delorme Atlas & Gazetters are wondeful. They show you many features not available through GPS, maps or other atlases. It is a great feature to have the BLM lands marked as well as the back roads. Good resources are also included in each states atlas. A good addition to anyone's travel tools.
Accurate and pretty darn complete... September 30, 2009 Patriot Reader (Idaho) Considering the vast spaces of a highly rural state like Montana, this guide worked very well.
Best Montana road maps November 16, 2009 Dale B. Alberda I grew up in Montana and after retirement my goal is to explore and photograph all 56 counties. I have collected county maps, BLM maps and maps from other venders and the State of Montana. This is the most usable map for drivers and includes enough detail to get you off the beaten trails. Good buy and I'm sure their Atlas and Gazetteer for all the other states are just as good.
Great Atlas December 5, 2009 Mrs. Sherry A. Barker (Maine) Delorn always does a fine job on all of their atlases and this is no exception, lots of detail, well worth the purchase
A Wealth of Detail for All Kinds of Readers September 21, 2005 John N. Botens (Waters, MI USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This atlas, like all the Delorme atlases of the states, shows in clear detail every possible feature of the areas: roads down to dirt paths, rivers and streams, railroads, and the contours and elevations of the land. Placenames are thoroughly listed, as are parks, campgrounds, and recreation sites for hunting, fishing, hiking, and biking. This is an excellent all-around reference work.
